The following tips may come in handy for teachers and students getting into using blogs in instruction.
- Start with both post and comment moderation.
- Always moderate comments.
- Watch out for blog spam. Spam makes moderation a must.
- On blogger, turn on the spam protection that requires people to type a word shown as a graphic before their comment is submitted - this is called word verification.
